Code Repair

Sometimes, when a site is made, things just go wrong. Really wrong. There's a header graphic that just won't center. There's a font that's looking funky. There's some weird thing going on with the background, but you swear it didn't look like that when you used Firefox. This often happens when a designer uses a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor, but doesn't know how to design with raw code.

Then, there are the idiosyncrasies of various popular browsers. These can lead to some rather nasty problems of their own. Your may think your site is perfect because it looks good in Chrome or Firefox... and then, when you visit it using Internet Explorer, it turns into a Picasso painting.

If your site looks strange and you don't know why, chances are, I can fix it. It may be as simple as adding or removing a line of CSS; it may be as complicated as gutting the whole site and rewriting the code from the ground up. But if there's a problem with the HTML, the CSS or both, I have the know-how needed to troubleshoot and fix it.
