To get things started, I used links to sites I created for various classes. They don't demonstrate my design abilities so much as certain skillsets, although I did make them look nice. All such sites are marked as Demo. Others are client or personal work. Some links open in new windows.
Reviewers Unknown, Version 2 - This was once a little site with only a few contributors. As it grew, it needed more advanced functionality and a slicker look. Here's the makeover I gave it.
The Reviewer Report - A WordPress-based site for Robert Deemers, a reviewer of reviewers. Employs a few interesting Wordpress tricks for easy site management. Includes CSS dropdown menu.
Other Side Designs - A site designed for artist Steven Henry. The site itself is a custom WordPress template. Some fun graphic design and scripting elements here.
She and I: A Fugue - This is a project I did for author Michael Brown. The coding for his site was in a state of disarray, and it was my job to neaten it up, make the pages look right, and make the site cross-browser compatible.
Heavenly Muse Web and Graphic Design (Demo) - This site demonstrates the obvious: that I know how to use basic HTML. It was created in Dreamweaver. This site employs HTML, CSS and [hidden] frames.
Diamond Dust Beauty and Spa (Demo) - This site is a JavaScript tech demo. It includes a JavaScript shopping cart, login, cookies and form-checking. Oh, and there's also a pop-up window. Just to let you know.
Mask Gallery Sample (Demo) - This is just a one-page sample of something pretty I made for a Fireworks class. It's more a graphical demonstration than anything, but it does feature Javascript rollovers. And, frankly, it just looks pretty cool. (Sadly, though, if you find the secret link, there is no actual contest.)
PHP Site: Heavenly Muse Redux (Demo) - I made this as the final project for my PHP class. It includes databases, logins and other fun things. Main design based on my HTML site project. In the Customer Login area, use the username test and password test for something kind of fun.
